If you do not receive a confirmation email, you must contact UTC during normal business hours to check your appointment status.

Missed appointments will require full repayment of the test cost; this includes if you cancel or arrive more than minutes late. A CLEP may not be retaken within a 3-month period. This waiting period provides the test taker with an opportunity to spend additional time preparing for the exam or the option of taking a classroom course.

You will receive a copy of your exam score immediately upon completion of the exam unless you have taken an exam with an essay or written section.

For these exams, you will receive a combined score after the essay has been scored, usually three to four weeks after your test date. The College-Level Examination Program CLEP is a credit-by-examination program that offers the opportunity to earn college credit by taking examinations. CLEP exams cover material taught in courses that most students take as requirements in the first two years of college.

We recommend that you consult with admissions staff before registering for an exam. Policies that differ by college including the College of Engineering are shown in the additional charts. May be applied to General Education Program: Natural Sciences nonlab hours; or used to satisfy 1 high school course deficiency in science chemistry ; or used as elective hours.

Duplicates AP Test: Macroeconomics. May be applied to General Education Program: Social Sciences hours; or used to satisfy one 1 high school course deficiency in social studies; or used as elective hours.
